At the Rare Books session at China Guardian 2011 Spring Auction on May 22, 16 books of Yuan Dynasty Handwritten Copy of Policies of the Eastern and Western Han Dynasties in Twelve Volumes was auctioned at RMB 9 million yuan initially and finally sold at 48.3 million yuan after nearly 70 intense bidding, creating a word record of Chinese ancient books.
